Retirees

If you have a loved one, who is a member of Local 21 who has recently passed.  Please let us know if you would like us to help with casket watch.  This is something we typically do as an Honor Guard to show our continued commitment for our fallen brother/sister.  As an Honor Guard, we typically only travel in the Twin Cities Metro area and perform our watch during the wake.  We have at times done different events and outside the Metro for the retirees but each event has different needs.  Please call or email to find out what we can do for you.  Remember, the earlier we can be notified, the greater chance of securing more Honor Guard for your family member.  You can fill out the box to the right of this page, or call me at 651-785-3740, ask for Ben.

Active Local 21 members

As an active member, we will know immediately of your situation and will work tirelessly with your family to give you what you and your family deserve.

Funeral Recommendations for Fire Department Members

As an Honor Guard we have a general guideline to follow for memorials and funerals.  There are plenty of resources available.  We will often use the guidance set forth from the following website:

Travel for LODD

It is a goal of our Honor Guard, Pipes and Drums to travel across the great state of Minnesota for all public servant LODDs.  We will also travel when available to the IAFF 5th District (MN, ND, SD, WI) and beyond as appropriate and as funding allows.
